We offer engineering consulting services in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy:

  • Integration of latent heat thermal energy storage systems using phase change materials (PCM).

HVAC systems design

MET provides professional and cost-effective technical solutions in the area of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). Our design proposals are based on the use of new and energy efficient technologies as well as effective use of conventional engineering systems. Our experience and innovation allows us to provide optimal solutions for customers and helps to improve building’s energy efficiency.

In the design process we use 3D modeling and Building Information modeling (BIM) technologies.

We specialize in construction of various types of heat transfer and thermal energy storage equipment. According to the needs of the customer/client, our highly qualified constructors will prepare 3D model of equipment and technical documentation for the manufacturing including drawings, BOM, assembling instructions.

Engineering simulation

MET performs engineering simulation of the components of energy systems and building’s construction parts (thermal conductivity) using finite element analysis (FEA). Our engineers are focused on steady state and transient thermal analysis (conduction, convection, radiation and phase change) and structural analysis (static, modal, buckling and spectrum). Technical capabilities also allow us to carry combined engineering simulation taking several factors into account.

Manufacturing

Development, manufacturing and customization of thermal storage and CO2 utilization products allows us to offer cost-effective and high-efficiency solutions for both industrial and residential applications.

Measurements and data acquisition

The team of MET has a lot of experience in measurement and analysis of energy parameters. Using precision measuring instruments and data acquisition systems, such as ALMEMO 2890, ALMEMO 5690, HT SOLAR300N, we are able to offer a wide range of measurements and carry out a professional evaluation of data. A list of our services includes the following:

  • Measurement and analysis of building’s microclimate parameters (temperature, humidity, air flow);
  • Measurement of temperature of building’s construction surfaces (walls, roof, doors, windows, etc.) and determination of U-values of construction parts;
  • Measurement of parameters of building’s engineering systems (heat transfer fluid temperature, flow, etc.);
  • PC-based data acquisition systems.
  • Electrical power quality and consumption monitoring and analysis. A multi-function power quality analyzer is used to analyze single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. Parameters such as AC and DC current, AC and DC voltage, voltage deviation, power factor, harmonic distortion, flickers, unbalance, etc., are measured and recorded. Special software is used to analize data and create a detailed report;

Thermovision

We perform thermovision inspections and thermovision analysis of buildings, engineering systems, electrical and mechanical equipment. Using the infrared camera HT THT44, we can evaluate condition and identify defects of:

  • Building’s thermal insulation;
  • Heating, ventilation and cooling systems;
  • Underfloor heating system;
  • Electrical installations;
  • Electrical equipment (generators, transformers, fuses, circuit breakers and etc.)
  • Photovoltaic modules (solar power plants)
  • Mechanical components (bearings, gearboxes)
